PlayerUnknown's Battleground Mobile recently launched yet another big Esports tournament for Indian players. Though this time the tournament is not exclusive to Indian college students.
"PUBG Mobile India Series Tournament" is a new PUBG mobile india tournament whic is currently ongoing and recently it has finished the prelims were top 2000 teams were selected. Since the teams are already selected, now PUBG mobile India Series tournament will take its second phase which is the online playoffs which will take place between the top 2000 teams.
These top 2000 teams were being selected based on their performance in the prelims where they had to play 15 matches in erangel map of PUBG and in which the top 10 matches were counted for qualifying.
The second phase of PUBG mobile India series tournament will start from February 10, 2019. It officially called as the playoffs in which the top 2000 teams will fight there way through other teams to reach the top.
The PUBG Mobile India Series tournament online playoffs will run for 14 days, from February 10, 2019, to February 24, 2019. Pubg mobile India series tournament online playoffs will be played across 3 rounds. Below I have described the 3 rounds thoroughly:
PUBG mobile India series tournament online: Play-offs round 1
In the PUBG mobile India series tournament online playoffs round 1, the top 2000 teams that qualified the prelims will be seeded into 100 groups. Each group will consist of 20 squads who will face against each other.
The first round of PUBG mobile India Series tournament online playoffs round 1 is a best of 1 round, which means there will be only 1 round to qualify the tournament. The playoffs' first round will start from February 10, 2019, and will last till February 15,2019. It will be a knockout round where only the top 4 teams will advance to the second round of online playoffs.
Since it's a best of 1 match, you have to be cautious as a single match will be deciding your fate. Whether you will qualify for the second round or not depends fully on you. So, play it cool and play it safe. Now moving to the second round of PUBG mobile India Series tournament online playoffs.
A total of 400 teams will be selected from the round 1 of PUBG mobile India series tournament online playoffs.
The top 400 squads qualified will be seeded into 20 groups in which each group will consist a total of 20 squads, who will battle for the last round of PUBG mobile India series tournament online playoffs.
Round 2 of the online playoffs will start from February 16, 2019, and will last for 4 days i.e till February 19, 2019. As round 1 of PUBG mobile India series tournament online playoffs, round 2 will also be a knockout one.
The 400 teams divided into 20 groups will fight for the top 4 places in a respective match to reach the final round of the online playoffs. Now moving to the third/final round of PUBG mobile India Series tournament online playoffs.
The final round of the online playoffs will be played against the top 80 squads who qualified the second round of PUBG mobile India series tournament online playoffs.
It will consist of 4 groups each consisting of 20 squads. Each group's players will face against other top players to qualify the knockout match. This Final Round will start from February 21, 2019, and last for 4 days i.e till February 24, 2019.
The winner will be decided from a best of 3 contest, which means you will play 3 games. These 3 matches will consist a points based knockout match.
Only the top 5 squads from each group will advance to the most awaited grand finale of PUBG mobile India series tournament online. The last play offs round allows each group to have 5 winners which is great. Its gives a lot of room for players to opt different play style.
